Facts first
VF Empire Ltd has been a Malta company since 2019 (company no. C 94160, VAT MT26384195). The private AI OS work that became S◉LOCK has run in the Lab since February 2025: models, packages, and control surfaces on hardware the company operates.
The marketing site is new. The company is not. The Lab work is not.
Why we built it
Most “AI on the desk” still means a browser tab rented from a data centre. Drafts, clients, designs, and code leave as tokens and return metered. Open-weight models changed the options. You can run real models on metal you own.
A terminal demo is not a product. You need packages people open every day, published hardware floors, update discipline, and a Lab that breaks builds before customers see them. That work started in February 2025.
How we worked
Rule one: the Lab uses what it ships. Image, video, music, sites, mail, and model control lived on company desks as daily tools. A task only counted as done when it left evidence on disk.
The Lab is not one assistant. It is a multi-agent civilisation: specialized agents with focused roles and triggers, long-running process lanes, memory, and heal loops under operator authority. Public scale: 200+ specialized agents; 60+ custom process lanes; order of hundreds of supervised Lab processes; self-heal spine (watchdogs, supervisors, crash-path repair); learn in practice (project memory, improve queues). - Agent constitutions, tool inventories, harness source
- Customer-scale claims we cannot back with seats and hardware floors
- Personal names of officers or staff — the company is the public face
