2. What S◉LOCK is

S◉LOCK is a private AI operating system layer: an AI-native private desktop path with installable creative and work packages, plus Helmsman for frontier open models on hardware you own. It sits on a real base OS. It is a desktop path with packages on hardware you own.

Status: Founding Preview (limited early access). Social Centre, marketplace, and similar items sit on the pipeline until they ship. We do not sell pipeline as current product.

3. What leaves your machine

Two surfaces. Keep them separate.

A. This website (si-lock.com)

  • CDN/web logs (IP, user-agent) for security. Details: Privacy Policy
  • Access form fields (email, optional name/notes) so we can contact you about Founding
  • Optional analytics only if you consent to the analytics cookie category
  • We do not sell personal data. We do not train models on form content.

B. S◉LOCK product runtime (on your hardware)

  • Default: prompts, files, and local model inference stay on hardware you control
  • No automatic cloud model fallback: inference does not leave the desk unless you send it
  • Optional: BYO cloud API keys if you enable them; that traffic uses your keys
  • Updates / licence checks: signed updates may contact our update endpoint (EULA at delivery)
  • Air-gap path: offline use after models and packages are on disk is a design goal for Lab/Pro profiles

The website is the front door. The private desk is the product.

4. Timeline

5. Founding Preview vs pipeline

Home and Roadmap split ship-now from still-building. The access form is a contact request. It is not a purchase (see Terms §5). Prices on Tiers are planning ranges; a written Invitation confirms them.

6. Trademarks

“S◉LOCK”, “SILOCK”, “Helmsman” and related marks identify VF Empire Ltd products. Registrations may be pending. We are not affiliated with third-party products that reuse similar “SILOCK” or “Sovereign OS” names in other industries.

7. Security: site vs product

  • Site: edge filter, open counters, robots policy · Security dashboard
  • Product: local-first architecture, package integrity path, Helmsman residency (roadmap). No SOC 2 or ISO claim today.

8. Hardware and expectations

Floors: Hardware. Local depth costs silicon and time. Home hardware will not match cloud chat latency. Pro/Lab is for heavier local work. Do not buy an expensive workstation from this website alone. Verify the product on a live machine first (offline protocol below).

9. Before you pay

Founding Preview is early access. Send an email. Ask hard questions. Do not wire a large payment until you have the items below.

10. Offline verification (live, on request)

Local-first should survive a blunt test. Ask for this before large payment or buying silicon only for S◉LOCK.

  1. Live screen-share of a Lab or seat machine (skip the slide deck).
  2. Open the host OS network monitor so outbound traffic is visible.
  3. Disconnect the internet (unplug ethernet, kill Wi‑Fi, or airplane mode).
  4. With network down, run one local language-model prompt and one local image generation (or the package for that seat).
  5. Confirm both finish offline. Reconnect only if you want to test optional BYO cloud APIs you enable.

After models sit on disk, this should be easy to show. Founding applicants can book it: request offline verification demo.

A launch video is not this test. We claim no third-party offline certification today. Offline use after install is a Lab/Pro design goal. The live session is how you check it.
